What we do

Reliable Food Access, Rooted in Relationships.

Cascadia offers food solutions for a variety of customer types. We have worked hard to build a network of farms and food businesses that enable us to source most food types at a scale of economy, then store and deliver it according to customer needs.

Here are some examples of our current work. If you are interested in partnering on a similar — or totally new — wholesale food project, we are all ears (of corn).

Wholesale Bulk Food Distributor

Wholesale produce includes WA-grown fruits and vegetables, and regular wholesale produce of all types. Other wholesale foods include dairy, eggs, rice, beans, shelf-stable foods, WA raised/caught frozen proteins, and more.

Curated Food Assortment Boxes

Cascadia currently makes medically tailored food boxes, culturally relevant food boxes, local produce assortment boxes, and emergency response food boxes for a variety of customers. We work to understand the foods that make sense in the communities you are feeding, within the budget you have. Our food box offerings range from produce-only to full grocery box with frozen protein on the side.

The Lettuce Help Center

Cascadia works to give perfectly good surplus produce a second chance. Working with farms and supported by a 2023 Washington Department of Commerce grant, we find new markets for fresh, high-quality produce that simply lacks a buyer at time of harvest. This produce isn't even ugly — just unlucky! In 2025 alone, we moved 6 million pounds of produce in this category, donating 2.8 million pounds, and diverting good food from risk of waste.

Local Food Hub

Cascadia sources many local farms, producers, and food businesses for inclusion in our food box offerings, or as requested by customers with specific grants or desires for hyper-local Washington foods. In 2026 we added a large freezer so we could expand local pork, beef, chicken, and fish offerings. We are able to cite the farms we source from, and provide documentation to support grant reimbursement or organizational goal tracking.

Warehouse Services

Cascadia's warehouse is located in Auburn, WA and offers cold, ambient, and frozen storage solutions in a flexible model. We work well with other small businesses, and can be your cross-dock and local delivery partner. Our warehouse is 3rd-party audited for food safety and our vehicles refrigerated.

Food Security Partners Welcome

Cascadia proudly sources food for over 75 Washington food security nonprofits. We blend low-cost and local purchasing to offer value + values. From bulk foods, to food boxes, to snacks for backpack programs, we find the food that fits the needs of food bank partners at a cost that is sustainable.

Doin’ good, Anjou?

Small business with big impact.

Cascadia is a real, human-run small business — the people who answer the phone are the same people packing boxes, driving trucks, and showing up at community distributions. We’re your neighbors in Auburn, and value and service are what we’re about.
